This item is a delight and we love how this little egg metamorphosis into two egg cups…it’s a winner for the egg lover that has everything and for anyone into collecting  unique items… 
I think this could have belonged to an officer as there is a back story to this item, which I will pass on to the next owner… 
This item is very tactile and looking at the wood is possible made from walnut …
